117. Front dumper mount top
The cap on the front damper mount was cracked and the rebound stopper had numerous cracks, so I re-attached the stopper using a modified rubber base that was available on the market.
I gave up on repairing the cap and decided to just use the small cap that was used inside, and decorated it with mirror stickers.
The parts with the stickers attached were assembled onto the body.
Attach the donut-shaped mirror sticker you made to the shock absorber mount and cap.
This strut insulator cap appears to be a genuine Nissan part. I drilled a hole in the center, attached a brake and cap to the top, and a magnet to the back, and secured it with screws.
The one on the right is the new stopper, the bottom left is the same product that was replaced in March 2024. It may have been over tightened, but this is the state it is in after a year and a half.
Cut the bottom of a Hikari rubber band, black, 65mm diameter (BE-0-652), into a rounded shape. This is a substitute for a rebound stopper.
Although I have repaired it several times, the body seems to be getting brittle, so I will give up using it.
