I tried to make a hood-bra (or bonnet-bra? nose-bra??).
Use a fake leather, check the dimensions and shape, cut, sew, make a fixing belt and add a part for updraft... at last completed‼️
Take a picture, make a shape, and apply the cut-out seal sheet.
Adjust the shape and check the shape again on the other side.
Paste the seal sheet cut out in one piece on the fabric.
Using the seal sheet as a guide, shape and sew.
Sew the curve of the upper part of the headlight.
Carefully cut the part that hits the top of the hood with a curved line.
The shape has been created, peel off the guide seal sheet.
Cut a hole at the location of the bonnet striker.
I put it on the tip of the bonnet. Good.
Make a belt that can be adjusted in length to fix it.
Cover the cut area with bias tape.
Disassemble the commercially available hook and take out the metal parts.
The belt to hook on the vehicle side is completed.
Sew the belt to the fabric on the engine room side and connect it to the belt with hooks.
Hook the hook into the hole in the rib on the back of the hood and tighten the belt.
It fit perfectly！
Next, make a protrusion to prevent flapping.
Fold over and double sew for a neat look.
Insert a safety cushion inside to make it three-dimensional.
The area around the striker is also covered with bias tape.
It is fixed by pulling the 3 places on the back side with a band.
I think that the position of the curve on the top surface is a good feeling.
It is in good condition without wrinkles.
