114. Repairing screw hole

Now the 6mm bolts will fit snugly again.

The Heli-Coil is screwed in using a special tool, and once it is seated on the surface, a rod-shaped tool is inserted and hit with a hammer to break the pin at the back.

This is a Heli-Coil, a square piece of steel wire wound into a coil. This will create the threads.

Drill a pilot hole, lubricate it, insert a thread tap, and cut the thread.
