4. Front grill emblem

Since this is a Polestar Automotive Holding vehicle, the company's logo will inevitably be on the front emblem, so I created a sticker that can be pasted on top of the VOLVO. Using a semi-gloss black sheet as a base, I cut out the polestar+ logo text using a reflective sticker sheet, overlapped it, coated it with clear paint, and pasted it on the VOLVO logo.

Photos & Making

Place a ruler on the emblem, take a photo, import it to your Mac, and create the data in full size.

I cut out a base sticker using scrap materials and pasted it on. It still seems a little small.

Lay out the logo text and convert it into data according to the size-adjusted base

Cut out the base of the semi-gloss black sticker sheet and the text from the reflective sticker sheet.

Paste the logo text on top of the base sheet, aligning it.

It settled in a good position.

Coat the surface with clear paint to prevent the text sticker from peeling off.

Before/After. The blue polestar+ badge will be removed as the logo text will be included in the emblem.

It becomes monotone and looks tight.
