22. Millimeter wave radar sensor cover

Looking around at the stock vehicles at the location where I went to look at this vehicle, I noticed that all of the models from that era had a millimeter wave radar cover that fit inside the grille, and both ends of the outer clear plastic cover had lifted off of the base and were discolored white. So I decided to try painting it.

To remove this cover I needed to remove the grill, and to remove the grill it looked like I would need to remove the bumper, so I got a hold of a junk grill and checked the structure from the back. So I folded back a general-purpose stay to make a tool, which I inserted into the side of the front cover, opened the tab on the back, and devised a way to remove just the cover, so I tried it out.
