The side mirror functioned perfectly well, but the surface plating on the frame and arm around the outside of the mirror was damaged, and I wanted to replace it at some point.
I found one of the new side mirrors in a package of transferred parts, including the engine, so I purchased and replaced the other one.
This plastic washer is important. It does not rust, has good hardness or elasticity, does not damage the painted surface even when the mirror is tightened firmly, and can be rotated for adjustment.
Beautiful plating! I thought it was fine as before, but it still feels good to be clean!
The left is new, the right is original, and the curvature is almost similar.The mirror surface appears to be wider because the outer frame is thinner.
This is the original mirror arm.
The plating is dull and cracked.
