Until now, the interior and exterior temperature gauges were installed under the radio panel, which did not match the atmosphere of the dashboard, and I was always bothered by this.So I removed it and installed a compact thermometer in an inconspicuous position.
The mounting base, like the battery voltmeter, is made of an aluminum plate with numerous holes drilled for the openings, the openings cut with nippers, and shaped with a file.
When lined up next to the voltmeter and set up with a drink holder, it is not visible from the passenger seat or outside, but only from the driver's seat.
The area under the radio has been cleared.
From the driver's seat you can check the numbers like this.
I was able to install it side by side with a voltmeter.
Once the shape of the base is decided, paint it with a stone-like spray.
Temporarily fix only the base and check and adjust the position and angle.
File the shape and fold back the top and bottom plates so that the claws of the thermometer are caught.
Attach a guide seal to an aluminum plate, drill many holes, and cut out with nippers.
Below the radio is the pre-change thermometer.
