71. Adapter for genuine wheel cap
Because I wanted to attach the VW genuine wheel cap to the BENZ genuine 15-inch iron wheel, I bought a drilling machine and combined it with a hexagonal long nut, a general-purpose crankstay, and a nylon cable clamp to make an adapter. The outer nylon clamp holds the cap with excellent elasticity.This Tire is YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T G056 ( 195/80R15 107/105L).
In this state, attach the wheel to the vehicle.
Fix the nylon cable clamp & stay set that was made in advance to the long nut.
Pass the flat head screw from the back and fix the long nut.
Benz wheels had holes conveniently between the bolt holes.
Attach a nylon cable clamp to the tip of the stay.
Here is the set of all parts used.
Make an adapter for the wheel cap. First, fix the guide so that you can drill holes in the same position, and drill holes in 20 stays.
After painting the wheels, I took them to a tire shop and had them assembled.
This time, I put a green reflective line sticker instead of orange.
Condition and repaint the damaged surface.
When I removed the trim ring, I scratched it with my fingernail and it got scratched.
