95. Evaporator condition check
The cooler was filled with gas five years ago, and it still works reasonably well, but I thought it would work a little better if I cleaned the evaporator, so I opened it.
However, when I looked inside, the fin part of the heat exchanger was clean, and the cushion packing at the outside air/circulation switching duct connection was replaced, and it was in good condition.
The clip finally returned to their original positions.
I kept this clip for years without knowing where it came off.
The fins of the heat exchanger are also in good condition.
The image quality is bad, but it doesn't seem to be covered with dust.
I used this wire scope to check the fins of the evaporator.
I forgot to take a picture of the removed duct.
Remove the bolt on the upper right that can be seen well and the bolt on the back left.
Remove the cable leading to the outside air/circulation switching duct.
Since the electric wire is fixed with a clamp, open three places, remove the electric wire, and pull out the tray downward.
Remove the two screws on the left and right sides of the undertray. Just loosen the screw here, you don't have to remove it.
Remove the two screws on the left and right under the undertray.
Open the lid of the document compartment under the dashboard and remove the two screws.
