90. Steering wheel & Shift knob
The steering wheel and shift knob were replaced. The steering wheel was updated from NARDI CLASSIC WOOD TYPE to MOMO RETRO. The shift knob was refinished and reinstalled from a piston used in the past. The interior of the car is now in a monotone tone, creating a nice atmosphere.
Wouldn't the bolt cover rings give it a retro-futuristic look?
I think that the lack of a cover around the horn button and the visible hexagon socket countersunk bolt is a common style.
Reassemble the button in order to set the horn button with YASTUDIO logo mark on the new steering wheel.
It came with the ring on the left and the horn button on the upper left. The VW mark in the upper right is also from MOMO, and the one with the YASTUDIO logo is from an unknown manufacturer, with the surround painted white to match the white steering wheel.
This is the original state of MOMO RETRO. It is quite nice. The logo is on the edge of the right spoke as well as the horn button.
The left knob is a genuine Honda product. The diameter of the piston appears to be the same as the it.
This is a real piston for small motorcycles. I used it about 30 years ago. Two-component hardening resin was poured inside, cured, drilled, and threaded.
I also love this wood steering wheel.
